The food in the north west of Italy next to the border is frankly shocking. You need to drive to Genoa before it starts getting really good. Nice can be amazingly crummy too, sorry you had a bad experience.
I love your sketches, especially the Pere LaChaise stuff. The Morrison grave is pretty nondescript, though you can usually spot some grubby looking american hipsters standing beside it. The Oscar Wilde tomb is worth a visit.
I’m glad I didn’t go to the comparative anatomy museum, the mounting on the Allosaurus and the diplodocus are awful! Nice drawing tho.

  Nice was fine because we really didn’t spend that much time there – we rented a car and went out to Cassis, the Gorge du Verdon, Cannes, Monaco, etc. And we actually ate pretty well there! Best mussels I’ve ever had.
  
  Thanks for the kind words, I could spend a while just sketching in that graveyard. And yes, I had issues with posing of the Allosaurus in particular…
